Big projects!

So this here is the character I'm working on.
I'm trying to develop with some friends of mine "FLAC CREATIVE LAB" some short animation including this little guy up here.
Unfortunately I've been soo busy with this and other 2d animations I'm working on that I haven't been able to come up with a name for this character...

Can anyone help me with this?

I'm curretnly working on animation and rigging that's why I wasn't able to post any illustration recently.
But I promise it's godd stuff, trust me.

weekly character animation

I decied to try some traditional animation with the new character

It's just a rough sketch for now but I'll work on the details.

100 points to anyone who guess where I took this from.

I'm trying again this week to develop another character, with more expressions and poses this time.
Next week I'll have to work on other stuff so I might skip the weekly character. Not sure yet.
But anyway, this week theme is

A pig called Bacon

In the previous post I wrote how I wanted to try again to work on character designing.

I decided to pick a theme, for this week was REDNECK, and started drawing something.

This is what I came up with.

( I still have to improve my digital painting skills so this next week I'm going back to study the basics ).

I couldn't come up with a name for the old man... Let's call him "Jack".

The name for the pig is Bacon ( pretty obvious ).

So here i introduce to you "jack & bacon" my redneck themed character design for the week.

Weekly character concept #1

I've been pretty busy with work in the past few weeks, this is why I haven't been able to keep up with the blog and more updates.

But I missed drawing and thinking about new characters and concepts.
This is why I decided to try this system:

I will try every week to draw something based on a random concept ( I have 75 to choose from for now! and I'm adding more everyday ).
This week concept is:



REDNECK

That's it. Simple as that.
And this is what I currently developed

By the end of the week I'll make sure to have more stuff.

I'm also trying to find some short stories to develop a bigger illustration project, so if anyone has some good stories to suggest don't be shy and tell me.
